This process does remove a great deal of allergens but we also say to take additional protective steps by adding pillow shams and protectors as well.

Many synthetic companies also market products that are comfortable and allergy free. The important point is to know what specific needs you have and look for a pillow that fits those needs and your sleep needs. A micro fiber pillow may be soft and allergy free but if you are a side sleeper you may prefer more support which is found in the silk pillow.
